A non-refundable fee of $25.00 per family is due at time of registration.
Students are registering for the full school term (Sept.-June), not for individual classes. The number of classes may vary per month. We offer 3 payment options for your convenience.
- One Time Payment in September
- Three equal payments September, December & March
- Ten equal payments September through June
Any payment not received by the 10th of the month will receive a $10.00 late fee. If tuition payments fall behind, the student will be allowed to observe, but not participate in class until payment is brought up to date.
Students are required to purchase a costume(s) for each class for the annual recital. Pre-dance, Kinder-dance and Combination classes are required to purchase 2 costumes. The cost is $70.00 per costume for all classes. Costumes ordered in extra large sizes have an additional charge of $5.00 per costume. We will measure and fit the student for costumes. All costumes will be paid in 3 installments $25.00 Oct, $25.00 Nov and $20.00 in Dec per costume. Any costume balances not paid by December 10th will be subject to a $10.00 late fee per costume. There are no refunds or family exchanges on costumes. If you choose to discontinue your dance education you forfeit all rights to costumes and costume deposits. Each student is responsible to purchase the proper leg wear for recital. All leg wear for recital must be purchased through the studio to ensure that there are no discrepancies in color. Leg wear payments are due by March 10th.
All monthly tuition will be processed through ACH (automatic withdrawal from a checking account) on the 5th of each month. There will be a $35.00 fee for all returned checks.
ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE
Your annual registration fee entitles you to discounts on ADW activities, summer camps, workshops and special events. A non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 is due upon registration.
Students will be placed in a class level as determined by the dance studio staff. New students may be asked to take a placement class to determine the appropriate level. Excessive absences from weekly classes may require a student to be moved to a lower level class.
If a student wishes to discontinue their dance education a written notice must be given to the studio office 30 days in advance to avoid further billing. Students who choose not to continue their dance education are still responsible for any unpaid tuition/balance.
We do not allow viewing of our weekly classes. Parents of students are invited twice a year to observe their child’s class. Observation weeks will be posted in our newsletters.
We have a small waiting room/lobby where parents may wait for their students to finish class. There is no food or drinks allowed in the lobby except water. A Dancers’ World is not responsible for personal property. It is the students’ responsibility to keep track of their belongings. A lost & found box is located in the lobby.
Classes may be held even when public schools are closed. Please call our studio for a recorded message.
The public school vacations will be observed for classes. Dance Company members may have competitions/performances during these weeks.
A recital will be held in June. All students are required to attend and purchase a recital package which contains your finale t-shirt & medal and the recital DVD.
Students must wear dance apparel to all classes. Girls are required to wear a leotard and tights any color is acceptable. Shorts may be worn in hip hop classes and skirts may be worn in ballet classes only. It is important to be able to view the dancers’ body to insure proper body alignment. Boys are required to wear sweat pants or gym shorts and a t-shirt. Long hair must be pulled back at all times and no jewelry.
A DANCERS’ WORLD DANCE COMPANY
A Dancers’ World Dance Company is a selected group of highly-motivated performers ages 8 and older who study ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. Weekly rehearsals focus on specialized technique and choreography for performances and competitions throughout the community.
